WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK ON?

ANXIETY THERAPY

There are two ways that anxiety shows up. First in our minds— things like overthinking, worries about the future, feeling on edge around others, feeling out of control. Then in our bodies—insomnia, sweating, racing heart, tension, headaches.

Know that anxiety, however it presents, is very treatable with therapy. I am equipped to help with:

  • Generalized Anxiety

  • Social Anxiety

  • Panic Disorder

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

  • Phobias

DEPRESSION THERAPY

Sadness typically resolves on its own, but depression leaves you feeling down or irritable for long periods of time, especially when untreated.

Depression disrupts your life. Symptoms include persistent feelings of unexplainable sadness, loss of interest in life, decreased appetite, low energy levels, inability to concentrate, and low self-esteem.

Securing help is the best first step you can take.

TRAUMA THERAPY

Trauma is like an unhealed wound. That wound can be invisible to others since it's in our minds, and it can go untreated for a lifetime.

Trauma can change the way you view yourself and the world around you. You may feel like you're on guard and ready for something bad to happen. Nightmares and flashbacks resurface difficult emotions. You may also experience numbness, guilt, or shame.

EMDR therapy is one effective approach to regain inner peace.

ADJUSTMENT AND LIFE TRANSITIONS

A big change like a move, a new job, a new school/college, sudden illness, and divorce are just a few examples of stressors that can feel too overwhelming. Having trouble coping with these changes can leave you feeling in a funk or worried about what's to come.

Therapy offers strategies to field the stressors that life throws at you.

SELF-WORTH AND CONFIDENCE

Ever wonder about that person who strikes you as super confident? How do they do it?

Well even that seemingly confident person experiences self-doubt. The difference may be that they have a different relationship to those defeating thoughts or manage them in a different way.

Therapy and counseling will help change unhelpful patterns that keep you in constant state of second guessing yourself.

SEXUALITY, GENDER, SEXUAL HEALTH

Do any of these concerns resonate?

  • How do I cope with a family that rejects or ignores my identity?

  • Is there a way to reconcile my spirituality or faith with my identity?

  • How do I come out to my friends or family?

  • I am uncomfortable with my gender expression. Where do I even start?

  • What can I do about my low sex-drive?
